ज्यादा ब्याज देने और इम्प्लाइज पेंशन फंड (EPS) के तहत 5000 रुपये प्रति
महीना पेंशन करने की तैयारी को लेकर विचार-विमर्श के लिए लेबर पैनल की बैठक
में बड़ी चर्चा होने वाली थी। EPFO के दायरे में आने वाली संगठित क्षेत्र
की कंपनियों को अपने कर्मचारी को EPF (Employee Provident Fund) का लाभ
उपलब्ध कराना होता है। ऐसे में देश के 65 लाख पेंशनधारकों की आशाएं इस बैठक
पे कागि हुई थी। पर ये 28 अक्टूबर को संसदीय समिति की होने वाली बैठक को
टाल दिया गया है।
राज्य सभा की वेबसाइट की जानकारी के अनुसार इस बैठकों आने वाले नवम्बर महीने की 3 और 4 तारीख को सूचिबद्ध किया गया है।
बता दें कि EPF में कर्मचारी और नियोक्ता दोनों की ओर से योगदान कर्मचारी की बेसिक सैलरी+DA का 12-12 फीसदी किया जाता है। नियोक्ता के 12 फीसदी योगदान में से 8.33 फीसदी कर्मचारी पेंशन योजना EPS 95 में जाता है। मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक, इसे लेकर बुधवार यानि 28 अक्टूबर को बड़ी बैठक संसदीय समिति की बड़ी बैठक थी।
इसपर चर्चा करने के लिए इस समिति का गठन पिछले महीने ही किया गया था। काफी समय से EPFO के कोष को फंड मैनेजर देख रहे हैं। साथ ही इसके निवेश से जुड़े फैसले भी वही करते हैं। ऐसे में यह पैनल इसका आकलन करेगा। पैनल के सदस्य कोरोना वायरस और लॉकडाउन के चलते EPFO कोष पर पड़ने वाले प्रभाव का भी आकलन करने को भी सूचीबद्ध किया था।
जानकारी के मुताबिक, PF कोष के लिए गठित पैनल की बुधवार को जो बैठक होने वाली थी उसमे में कर्मचारियों की कर्मचारी पेंशन योजना (EPS 95) के तहत पेंशन बढ़ाने और खाताधारक की मृत्यु के मामले में परिवारों को मिलने वाली राशि की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चत करने पर भी चर्चा होने वाली थी। EPS योजना के तहत न्यूनतम पेंशन (Minimum Pension) को बढ़ाकर 5,000 रुपए मासिक भुगतान करने पर भी विचार फैसला होने की उम्मीद 65 लाख पेंशनधारकों गई थी। ऐसे में अब देश के 65 लाख वृद्ध EPS 95 पेंशनधारकों को की 3 और 4 नवम्बर तक इंतजार करना होगा।सभी पेंशनधारकों को अवगत है की कई ट्रेड यूनियन और श्रमिक संगठन भी पिछले कुछ समय से पेंशन की राशि बढ़ाने की मांग कर रहे हैं।
